Player Biography
A former 19th round pick of the Texas Rangers, Travis made his Major League debut in 2004. After being claimed off waivers by the Nationals and pitching in the Majors in 2005 and 2006, Travis pitched for the Boston Red Sox organization in 2007.
After a stellar season in which he posted 24 saves to go along with a 1.91 ERA, Travis signed with the Yokohama Bay Stars of the Japanese Central League, where he pitched in 2008.
