Player Biography
Selected by Chicago in the 2008 Rule V draft, David Patton claimed a bullpen spot for the Cubs in the 2009 campaign. A 24 year old rookie, Patton was thrilled to make the Opening Day roster and hopes to contribute in the 2010 season.

Jon was the first person I called after finding out I had made the Opening Day roster. I've always been able to call him, through all the ups and downs in my career. He's always been there for me.
