Player Biography
Rated the Padres top Minor League prospect by Baseball America in 2009, Blanks made his Major League debut on June 19th, 2009. Listed at 6'6", Kyle made an immediate impact in the Padres' lineup by clubbing 10 home runs. Blanks' rookie season was highlighted by an inside-the-park home run against the Cubs on August 18th.
Figuring to be a solid contributor to the Padres lineup, Kyle is looking forward to the 2010 season.
