After a stellar Triple A campaign which yielded a 13-6 record and a 3.47 ERA, Daniel McCutchen made his Major League debut on August 31, 2009. Aside from pitching six solid innings, McCutchen also recorded his first Major League hit and RBI in the contest.
McCutchen has been tabbed as a member of the Pirates' starting rotation for the 2010 season.
