Josh Willingham, Minnesota Twins

Josh Willingham played college ball at the University of North Alabama and was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 17th round of the 2000 amateur draft. Willingham amassed  26 home runs and 74 RBIs during his rookie campaign in 2006, finishing second on the team in home runs.


Prior to the 2012 season, Willingham signed a 3-year / $21M contract with the Minnesota Twins. Josh has gotten off to a hot start with the club, winning the AL Player of the Week award in mid-April.

Josh and his family make their home in Florence, AL, where Josh remains a strong figure in a tight knit community.
