Player Biography
As a rookie in 2006, Scott Olsen established Florida Marlins team rookie records by compiling 166 strikeouts in 180.2 innings pitched. Scott also tied for the team lead in wins with 12.
Following the 2008 season, Olsen was traded (along with Josh Willingham) to the Washington Nationals in exchange for minor league prospects. A veteran on a young staff, Scott has worked his way back to the Majors and has lead the Nationals to a fast start in the 2010 campaign.
